Sara Salerno - Certified Massage TherapistSara Salerno graduated from Cortiva Institute - Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy in April of 2006 with a certificate in Swedish Therapeutic Technique. She also has additional training in Deep Tissue, Reflexology and Hot Stone Therapy. Sara is employed as a physical therapy aide within the office of Christine F. Hayes, P.T. P.C.. In addition, Sara is enrolled in the Physical Therapy Associate degree program at Harcum Junior College. Reflexology, a modality traditionally done solely on the hands and feet, s based on the belief that every organ and body system had a corresponding point on the hands and feet. by working these areas with a specific series of passes, both the area of massage and its corresponding are receive the benefits. Hot Stone therapy is similar to Therapeutic massage in its style and sequence. Polished volcanic rocks are heated and hen used to soothe the entire body. Hot stone therapy is especially beneficial for stress relief, muscle soreness/tightness, cramping and trouble sleeping.
Anne Medrano - Certified Massage TherapistAnne is a graduate of the Massage Arts Center of Philadelphia and a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, specializing in Integrative Massage. She combines traditional therapeutic techniques with CranioSacral Therapy and Myofascial Release, offering her clients a deeply relaxing and effective healing experience. Anne is also working as a physical therapy aide in the Office of Christine F. Hayes, PT, PC which has deepened Anne's medical understanding of injuries, rehabilitation and tissue healing.
