Jenifer Alavi, PT

Jenifer Alavi received her Masters of Physical Therapy from MCP Hahnemann University in 1999. She is Certified as a Direct Access Provider with the state of Pennsylvania which enables patients to be acutely seen without a referral from a physician first. Jenifer has extensive experience in orthopedics/sports medicine and has worked in a variety of settings utilizing multiple manual therapy skills. Jenifer is also a Certified McKenzie Therapist and sees back and neck patients recovering from herniated discs, bulging discs, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, osteoporosis, scoliosis and more. Jen also completed Myofascial Release I with John Barnes in November 2009 and is now available for Myofascial Release treatments.

Jenifer joined The Office of Christine F. Hayes, P.T. P.C. in 2008. She was instrumental in opening our Women’s and Men’s Health Program, which sees patients with a multitude of pelvic floor disorders including stress and urge incontinence. Jenifer is also a graduate of The Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy and is a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. She works with both men and women managing lymphedema issues from oncology related diagnoses and treatment as well as those with congenital primary lymphedema.
